Morkniv Announces Four New Full Tang Fixed Blades

The Ash Collection May Signal a New Direction For Mora

Morakniv has long been famous for budget partial tang knives with polymer handles. However, the Ash Collection consists of four new knives with Ash wood handles, full tang construction and a higher price point.

In their press release Mora’s CEO stated “This knife series marks an important milestone in our efforts to further embrace sustainability, while making no compromises on product performance“. It remains to be seen if this new direction is embraced by the company’s fans. The knives look great, and Mora certainly knows how to make a quality knife, but the larger price tag has already been met with some online grumbling.

The new knives are currently available on Morakniv’s website, but they have not yet made it to the major online American retailer.
