Cold Steel and SOG Coming to Blade Show 2025 with New Folders and Limited Editions

They’ll be loaded down with new flippers, flashlights, and butterfly knives.

The two now-sibling companies under GSM Outdoors will each be exhibiting a wide range of new folders and fixed blades, plus some other gear you might only be able to pick up at Blade Show.

Highlights from SOG

An overhead right angle view of the three SOG Diverge models released at Blade Show in 2025.
The recently released SOG Diverge XR is available in a variety of handle and blade color options.

They’re still pushing hard into the budget folder category:

The Aegis FLK 2.0: It’s a continuation of SOG’s Aegis series which mostly features budget folders. The FLK 2.0 is a frame lock flipper with a 3.25-inch 8Cr blade that will be available as a drop point or wharncliffe, as well as an option for an all-satin finish or all black PVD coating.

The Diverge XR Series: A flipper with SOG’s XR crossbar lock, a 3-inch D2 steel blade, aluminum scales. It’ll be available as a drop point or sheepsfoot with black, green, or red scales.

Adventure LB Series, a barebones lock back folder with 5Cr steel and GRN handle scales which will now be available in orange, gray, PDE, purple or black.

The SOG Bar15 bayonet looks like serious tactical fixed blade that could double as a camping tool. It is pictured here without its sheath on a white background.

The Bar15 Bayonet: A MIT-compatible fixed blade with AUS-8 steel and G10 scales. It’s available as a tanto or drop point, with green, tan, or black scales.

They’ll also have an array of new hatchets and flashlights at their booth.

Highlights from Cold Steel

The Cold Steel Recon 1 XL Clip Point folding knife shown here with its blade in the open position in front of a white background.

Of course, Cold Steel is going bigger and a little more expensive, but maybe most significant is their Demko collaboration.

The Demko Java Push Dagger: A 6-inch kriss-style blade in SK-5 steel with a Micarta handle. It comes in a Pancake-style sheath with a drop-leg nylon back for carrying.

The Cold Steel Black Sable pocket knife shown here with its blade in the open position in front of a white background.
The newly released Black Sable features Cold Steel’s Tri-Ad® Lock.

The Black Sable Folder: An overbuilt pocket knife with a Tri-Ad lock, and a 4-inch blade in XHP powder steel. They list is as tanto, but a more descriptive term would be “trailing point tanto”. It also features a carbon fiber handle and a reversible clip.

The ARC-Angel Balisong: Is a new butterfly knife with S35VN steel made in the USA.

Recon 1 XL Clip Point: This large folder features a Tri-Ad® lock, a 5.25″ XHP steel blade and a G-10 handle.

Also keep an eye out of the limited edition titanium black out version of the AD-10 in 3V steel. They only made 1,000, so they’ll likely be gone fast.

Booth and Deals

They’ll also have show-exclusive deals on gear like ear muffs and tactical bags, so it sounds like they’ll have no shortage of things to load yourself down with.

You can find them at booth #124.
