CRKT Xolotl OTF

Michael Rodriguez brings function and a cultural homage to CRKT

CRKT has teamed up with former Green Beret, Michael Rodriguez to bring us the Xolotl. A well-executed blend of heritage, precision and elite performance, this is an automatic OTF that is sure to get to the (spear) point. The MagnaCut steel provides edge retention while being corrosion resistant.
Three different variations of the CRKT Xolotl OTF sticking out of a block of wood that is partially covered in burlap.

Named after the Aztec deity who guides souls to the afterlife, the Xolotl has a sculpted handle featuring skeletal details, as well as 21 ribs along the grip to honor Michael Rodriguez’s 21 years of service.

Here are the quick specs:

Overall Length:8.88”
Blade Length:3.5″
Blade Steel:MagnaCut
Blade Thickness:0.13″ (3.18mm)
Blade Shape:Spear
Handle Material:Aluminum
Weight:3.2oz
Designer:Michael Rodriguez
Made in:USA

With a dual-action mechanism and a blade that is ground on both edges, you get precise and decisive deployment. Lightweight by design, the aluminum handle keeps the total weight at 3.2 oz. A reversible pocket clip ensures a secure and discreet carry.

The Forged By War program was established in 2016 by CRKT and Veterans, using the knowledge and experience of warriors to create tools and mission-ready knives. Not only do the veterans receive a commission, but this program also gives a portion of the profits to a charity of the designer’s choice. Michael Rodriguez chose to support the Global War on Terrorism Memorial Foundation.
