Summery

The Sog Escape is a solid feeling, durable folding knife that has a seat belt cutter and glass breaker that actually work. If you are looking for a versatile everyday carry knife that will last for years this may be the way to go. At 8.2 inches when open the Escape is big enough to handle most tasks, but small enough when closed to clip comfortably in your pocket.

The Anodized Aluminum handle can take a beating and is surprisingly comfortable to hold even when cutting through something tough.  The blade is made of 9Cr18MoV steel which is easy to sharpen and holds it’s edge fairly well. I consider it to be a happy medium type of steel, so if used moderately it would only need to be sharpened every thirty days or so.
